About The Builder
Stronglast Builders was founded in 2021 by Howard Jacobson, bringing together over 20 years of experience in residential development and construction.
Mr. Jacobson brings to the Stronglast Companies a diverse background in acquisition, entitlement, and development of land, design and construction of high-rise condominium, townhome, and detached single-family housing, and equity and debt financing of these activities. With an education in law and software development, Mr. Jacobson guides the operations, financing, and structuring of the Stronglast businesses to deliver optimal affordability and quality to Stronglast customers with a focus on an efficient customer experience and enduring home value.

Howard Jacobson,
President and Founder
For more than 30 years, Howard Jacobson has proudly called Raleigh home. A father of three daughters, he is deeply rooted in the community where he lives and builds.
With over 22 years of experience in housing development, Howard has earned a reputation for creating neighborhoods and homes that strike the perfect balance between quality and affordability. He believes every family deserves a home built with care, where thoughtful design and lasting value come together.
Outside of work, Howard has recently developed a passion for sailing. Whether navigating quiet waters or embracing the challenge of the open wind, sailing mirrors what he loves about building-patience, precision, and the reward of seeing hard work come to life. For Howard, Stronglast Companies is more than a business-it’s a commitment to serving families and shaping communities. His focus on craftsmanship and his dedication to making homeownership attainable guide every project he develops and builds.
Dan Davis,
Director of Construction
A proud North Carolina native, brings over 12 years of experience in the construction industry to his role as Director of Construction at Stronglast Companies. Known for his attention to detail and commitment to quality, Dan takes pride in creating homes that reflect the needs and desires of today’s buyers.
Married to his wife of 25 years, Dan is a devoted husband and father to three children—his 21-year-old son, 22-year-old daughter, and 15-year-old daughter. When he’s not building homes, he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing.
Dan chose to join Stronglast Companies because of the strong relationship and mutual trust he shares with the company’s owner. This partnership gives him the freedom to be creative, allowing him to incorporate thoughtful features and design details that set Stronglast homes apart. Unlike large production builders, Dan values working with a company that prioritizes craftsmanship, value, and the customer experience.
He believes that every home is more than a structure—it’s the start of a relationship. For Dan, building homes is about building trust, and he carries that philosophy into every project he oversees.
